About us
Founded in Colorado back in 2005, Network Troubleshooting and Installation LLC strives to find the perfect solution for your Business. Now located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I see a need for these kinds of skills in the area!
Got a couple hundred acres that you need wireless distributed on? Done it… Need to feed some wifi to remote areas of your property to monitor gates, cameras, well pumps? Done it… Need a 1000 foot of fiberoptic to connect a remote building to your main building? yep… DONE IT.

Some recent projects
In the last 20+ years I’ve tackled some pretty substantial projects, here’s just a few of the recent ones.

Solar Powered SimpliSafe Alarm
A building in Denver Colorado kept getting their electrical wiring stolen, LITERALLY! So I designed a solar powered alarm system that ran off lithium batteries and kept the alarm system running that was monitoring every panel the thief’s would pry open to yank the wiring from.

Cameras in Remote Locations
This project in Loveland Colorado required pulling some ethernet wires and a Comcast coax demarc extension up a hill to a pole serving dual purpose. The comcast service was on this pole, but the excavator that owned this property extended the service cheaper than their contractors could have, and at the same time we mounted a couple cameras to watch the remote corner of their property for tresspassers.

WiFi Distribution to RV Pads
This project in the Black Hills happened before I moved here and set off my desire to relocate! Back in 2022 a friend with some rental camper pads needed to get reliable wifi over to them, but their giant mountain blocked a direct path. A short point to point jump from their house down to this pole by the corner fed ethernet up to a distribution box where a set of POE injectors tied an outdoor access point back into their main network, and has been serving high speed wifi ever since, keeping their customers connected on fast fiber internet from the local provider.
Custer Chamber of Commerce
My first official project in the Black Hills of South Dakota!
The Custer Chamber of Commerce was interested in getting some cameras installed to watch the exterior of the building, and a single camera to watch the cash register/merchandise area of their facility. The design of the building prohibited interior wiring for these cameras, so first I cleaned up the years and years of abandoned wiring on the outside of the building. Then ran fresh shielded ethernet wire to a pair of 360 cameras, and the single interior camera.
Remote Wifi and Camera
This project was done on my own property!
My driveway is quite long, and I can’t see when cars come into the driveway, mail gets delivered, trash emptied etc. Plus the wifi from the house doesn’t reach down this far and my firewood processing area has pretty weak cellular. So an outdoor mesh wireless bridge back to the house gives me 100% signal strength for streaming music, phone calls, etc, combined with a camera that can do AI notifications on vehicles, animals, and people about 70 feet away watching the entrance from the highway. All running off a Lithium Battery, 200 watt solar panel, and a step up transformer from 12 volts to 48 volts to power the two injectors running the camera and mesh wifi bridge.
Why work with NTI?
Because in my 20+ years of business I’ve been able to find a solution for almost every complex business need you can think of. I try very hard to make it as budget friendly as possible, but complex problems often require complex solutions. I’ll gladly look at your project and tell you if it can be done, and then come up with a solution that will work.
